We visit local assisted living facilities and present an interactive program for the residents. For those of you who make this a regular part of your volunteering, you know how worthwhile this program is. Those who have never participated before are in for an unbelievably heart-warming experience.
We are always thanked in so many ways by the residents: for bringing comfort to so many who might have no other way to celebrate; reminiscing with them about this important part of Jewish history; to bring back their memories of previous holidays shared with loved ones.
